Lex Praxis Incorporated (“Lex Praxis”) is a full-spectrum law firm offering legal and advisory services with capabilities in Law, Management, Projects, and Business Strategy Advisory.

Our philosophy is to provide Legal and Business advice and guidance to prevent loss and improve capacity to perform at a high level without avoidable problems.

The law when properly applied protects us in our pursuit of life, liberty, fulfillment, enterprise and happiness. It also affords us clarity in terms of what is allowed or not with regards to our dealings with others. It facilitates progress enables us achieve more than we can otherwise achieve by ourselves.

Our name Lex Praxis (Pro Populo et Societatis) – “the practical application of Law for the benefit of people and society”, comes from our firmly held belief that the law is intended to, and must always be a means for engineering society in a way that benefits people.

At Lex Praxis we exist to assist people and organizations navigate the sometimes-confusing maze of the law when dealing with others, the State or various international entities. In the end we must work to obtain the greatest benefit for our clients as the law allows.

OUR LOGO

Our corporate logo expresses the ethos of our firm. Our logo is the combination of A Scale, a Sword, and a Shield. Each of these has a meaning. The Sword, like Law, is a tool for attack and also for protection. When a person is under attack from others in society, The Law is his refuge from attack, to that extent the sword helps to defend. The Sword can also be used to attack, when a person needs to assert their rights against another person, they resort to the law as a tool to attack those who deny them justice and to obtain it even if by force. The Law as a sword is therefore important. At Lex Praxis we acknowledge the Law as a Sword, but hold that the higher purpose of the law is not to attack but to defend, that is why we rest the Sword behind the Shield.

The Shield, like Law is a tool for defense and protection. It is not designed for attack; it is most suited to defend against an attack. We believe the highest purpose of Law is to defend everyone, especially the weak and to ensure that others do not destroy them.
Society is designed as the one place humans can coexist under law and enjoy equal rights as human beings, as against living in a system where it is the ‘survival of the fittest’ or the ‘tyranny of the strongest’, where life is as if in the jungle, brutish, short, and only the strong survive.
The highest purpose of law is to provide a defense to everyone strong or weak, and to regulate interaction in a way that gives security to all.

At Lex Praxis we hold this to be the most important role of Law, which is why the Shield is in front of all the emblems in our logo.
On our Shield is a Cross; this is a symbol of our faith as Christians. Lex Praxis is a Christian Law firm. We hold our faith as an important influence in all we do. We are guided by our faith and we follow its tenets. We however do not discriminate in our choice of clients, and we are open to everyone practicing their faith freely.
